Laboratory information management systems are full-featured, client-server applications for automation of enterprise laboratories, allowing to organize all laboratory processes in accordance with the requirements of standards.

The main functions of laboratory information management systems are the automation of laboratory data obtained in the process of testing samples entering the laboratory at various stages of the process, data on the quality of products, input control data, and data on the quality of the measurements.

Basic user-defined functions of the system:

  • obtaining, aggregating, monitoring and storing factory analytical data: data in LIMS can come in two ways: manual input of laboratories and automatic data entry directly from laboratory instruments

The LIMS system provides registration of samples, manual input of measurement results, automated input of measurement results from devices, with appropriate means of communication, automated calculation of indicators based on test results. The LIMS system includes software for generating reports on the activities of the laboratory and standard laboratory documents (test reports, laboratory logs, product quality certificates, etc.
